Getting Started
How do I get started with KidsDaily?
Getting started is easy! Click 'Get Started' on our homepage to request a demo. Our team will reach out to understand your needs and set up your account. Most centers are up and running within a day.
Do I need to install any software?
KidsDaily is a cloud-based solution, so there's nothing to install on your computers. Simply log in through your web browser. For mobile access, download our iOS apps from the App Store.
Can I import my existing data?
Yes! We help you import your existing children, families, and staff data during onboarding. We support imports from spreadsheets and can assist with data from other childcare management systems.
Is training included?
Absolutely. All plans include onboarding support and training for your staff. We provide video tutorials, documentation, and live support to ensure your team is comfortable with the platform.
Pricing & Plans
How much does KidsDaily cost?
Our pricing is based on the number of children at your center. We offer Starter, Professional, Premium, and Enterprise plans. Visit our pricing page for detailed information, or contact us for a custom quote.
Is there a free trial?
We offer a guided demo and pilot period for qualified centers. Contact our team to discuss trial options that work for your situation.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and ACH bank transfers for subscription payments. For parent billing, we support credit cards, debit cards, and ACH transfers.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Contact support if you need to make changes mid-cycle.
Features
What features are included in all plans?
All plans include attendance tracking, digital check-in/out, daily reports, parent communication, basic activity logging, and mobile app access for staff and parents.
Do you support billing and payments?
Yes! Our Professional plan and above include comprehensive billing features: invoicing, payment processing, autopay, subsidy tracking, and financial reporting.
Can parents pay tuition through KidsDaily?
Yes, parents can pay invoices directly through their parent portal using credit card or bank transfer. You can also set up automatic payments for convenience.
Does KidsDaily work offline?
Our iOS staff app has offline capabilities. Staff can record check-ins, activities, and notes without internet, and data syncs automatically when connection is restored.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Security is our top priority. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256), secure connections (TLS 1.3), and maintain SOC 2 compliance standards. All data is stored in secure, SOC 2 certified data centers.
Are you COPPA compliant?
Yes. We take children's privacy seriously and comply with COPPA requirements. We collect only necessary data, require parental consent, and give parents control over their child's information.
Who owns the data?
You own your data. We are a service provider that processes data on your behalf. You can export your data at any time, and we delete data upon contract termination as required.
Where is data stored?
Data is stored in secure data centers in the United States. We use Supabase (backed by AWS) for database hosting and Vercel for application hosting, both SOC 2 compliant.
Support
What support options are available?
We offer email support for all plans, with priority support and phone access for Premium and Enterprise customers. Our help center has extensive documentation and video tutorials.
What are your support hours?
Our support team is available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM Eastern Time. Enterprise customers have access to extended support hours.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
You can submit bug reports and feature requests through the app or by emailing support@mykidsdaily.com. We review all feedback and prioritize based on customer impact.
Mobile Apps
What devices are supported?
Our iOS apps support iPhone and iPad running iOS 15 or later. The web application works on any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop or mobile.
Is there an Android app?
Currently, our native apps are iOS-only. Android users can access the full platform through our mobile-optimized web application, which works great on Android devices.
Can staff use their personal phones?
Yes, staff can download the KidsDaily Staff app on their personal iPhones. The app is free and only accesses work-related data—we don't access personal photos, contacts, or other data.
